Inspiration is a spark that comes from within. When it is fanned with your awareness, it becomes a desire. Continued awareness injected with positive emotion causes it to grow into a burning desire. Napoleon Hill stated in his book, Think and Grow Rich, that every great thing begins with a burning desire. A burning desire is the first ingredient to success.
If you sense a burning desire within you, know that you have the means to manifest that desire. It only requires a definite decision on your part to begin the process. What can you do today to begin living towards your dream? If you can do it today, then begin doing it. The simple act of taking that first step will bring into your awareness the next step to take. This is how it all begins.
If you follow through on this process, you will gather momentum in time, and before you realize it, you will be well on your way to living your dream. You will be in a position to go even further than you ever before dreamed possible. You have within you infinite potential. No limits whatsoever. Give yourself to your dreams and see just where they will take you. You will be amazed.
I often get asked just where one begins to make a change. It all begins in the same place, no matter where you are coming from, the first step is in the decision. I'm not talking about deciding you want to make a change. Many people decide they want to make a change, and nothing ever happens with this other than they sense a growing frustration with their current situation.
The decision you make must be not that you want to make a change, but that you are going to make the change, and you must back this decision up with determined action. As Gandhi said: "Be the change you want to see in the world." You must also be the change you wish to see in yourself.
Last night I had a phone call with Paul Martinelli. I first "met" Paul last March when I asked him to be friends on Facebook. Paul read a post in my blog titled "How I Found Success with Rice Krispies." He left a nice comment on my wall about this particular post, and inspiration struck. I took action on that inspiration, and last night's call was the eventual result.
Paul taught a very valuable lesson: 10 Steps to Creating a New Belief. If you missed the call, no worries. I will be posting the recording here on my blog and on Facebook very soon. You will definitely want to listen in on this one. Paul has passion in his message.
In any case, whatever your dream, the process is the same. Make your decision, back up your faith in that decision with determined action. Don't concern yourself with the bumps in the road that you will face. They are only bumps and serve to test your commitment. Correct your course and continue. Most of all, enjoy the journey. All of it!
Whatever you desire in life, so long as it is for the greater good, can be yours. The Universe wants to back you up, to support you in your endeavor. When you begin to fearlessly go after your dream, you will find this to be true. The impossible does become possible. I can say this, because I have seen it happen on numerous occasions in my own life experience.
I believe you can, and you ought to believe as well. If you doubt, I ask you to begin learning more about the subject of YOU. You can do this through books, audios, videos, seminars, seeking out more uplifting relationships. The list goes on. We are truly blessed with so many options in this day. Take advantage of them now.
I want to help you because I believe the world will be a better place with each new success story. Make yours the next. I have an excellent book that explains in great detail how to achieve your dreams in five easy steps. The book is called Manifest By Design Now, and is available here as an instant download in PDF.
I'd like to thank you for following this blog. Apply what you learn to go after what inspires you to be a better person and change the world in a better way.
I want YOU to succeed!!

Becoming successful
Becoming successful has absolutely nothing to do with luck or chance. It has almost nothing to do with the resources you have in this moment. It has been said that luck is nothing more than opportunity meeting up with preparation. I believe this with all my heart.
As for resources, they do play a factor; however, you have the resources you need to be successful already, if you are able to read this blog. It really is not so much a matter of what resources you have as it is how you use them. This is the message I would like to convey to you.
You can begin right now in this moment to build upon what you have and your opportunities will increase with every step forward. But you do have to begin taking those steps. Take account of what you have going for you in this moment and decide right now to begin using what you have.
Be bold and step out of your comfort zone. You cannot expect to grow if you are not willing to stretch. If you feel uncomfortable or even fearful to try something, so what? Do it anyway. What if you fail in your attempt? So what? Do it anyway. Decide right now that failure is simply a price you are willing to pay in order to learn the correct path.
Life is meant to be lived, not simply contemplated. To live means to experience. Experience only comes to those who are willing to try. You cannot write a book without writing! This sounds very obvious, but you wouldn't believe the number of people who have told me they wanted to write a book, but have not yet written anything.
The same goes for getting a business off the ground. It will never happen until you actually do it yourself. Dreaming is a wonderful thing to do. But a dream is only the beginning. Take your dream whatever it may be, get on it, and ride.
Look around and find what resources you have to use now. Don't worry if you don't see much that you can do in this moment. Do whatever you can. I guarantee that if you do, more resources will then make themselves available to you, but you will not see them until you first use the ones you now have.
This is the way it works. There really is no secret. If you remember in the film, The Secret, Jack Canfield used the analogy of driving from Los Angeles to New York in the night. Your headlights only reveal the next 150 feet or so at a time, but this is sufficient. As you move forward, more will be revealed to you, and you progress.
This has been my own personal experience and it is the same experience I have seen described by every successful person I know. Everybody has dreams, but few have the courage to make them happen. I believe this is because people want to see the whole path laid out in front of them.
The word faith comes to mind. Have the faith and take that first action. Really what do you have to lose? You won't be any worse off than you are now. With your new experience, you will be able to make a wiser choice next. One step at a time you will begin to walk. You have to walk before you can run. When you run fast enough, you will be able to fly.
You have much to offer the world, and I want you to begin expressing this truth. You do so through your actions. I am here to help and I look forward to doing so.
I want YOU to succeed!!

Two very important points
It seems the number of people who are beginning to feel the urge to really get ahead in life is growing everyday. Maybe it’s the economy. Maybe it’s the state of affairs in the world. Maybe it’s divine intervention. It doesn’t really matter the reason why this is happening, but I do see it happening, and that is a good thing.
Another thing I have noticed is that many people who really want something better in their lives are not sure how to go about getting it. This is not a problem, however. It’s not a problem because the answers to what they are looking for are not that difficult to find.
I’d like to share with you two very important points that can help you, if you are someone who desires to better your life but don’t know where to start. The whole purpose of this blog is to help you to be the success you deserve to be. I want to help.
First point: I’ve found there is a very large and growing number of successful people in every area who are feeling the desire to share their ideas of how they became successful.
Second point: The ideas they each express are not at all difficult to grasp.
So how do you find this information? You can find it in the books they write or books that have been written about them. You can find audios, videos, online courses. You can speak directly with many of them or people who have access to them.
In fact, an entire field is opening up called life coaching, success coaching, mentoring programs and many other related programs. It truly is booming. Now, this brings up something I often hear from people in a tough spot in life. “What about people like me? I don’t have the money to invest in many of these programs, and how do I know which program will work best for me?”
First of all you need to recognize this kind of thinking is exactly the kind of thinking that is keeping you from becoming the success you desire to begin with. You’re thinking limitations. Limitations will keep you right where you are at right now. You need to expand your thinking in a way that you can know that somehow, someway, you are going to find the way!
This is so very important. And you will need to develop this mindset before you will even begin to move ahead. There is always a way, no matter where you are currently coming from. Even if you can’t see how just yet, at least take the time to meditate on this idea until you can open yourself to the possibility.
You may have heard of Joe Vitale, teacher in the hit DVD The Secret. He was living on the streets of Dallas when he began his journey. He began by going to the public library and reading books by and about successful people. Now that’s determination!
If you’re reading this blog, you’ve obviously got an internet connection. Use it to Google successful people. Begin with people that resonate with you, and expand from there. You might start with the names you’ve heard mentioned in The Secret. Or you might begin with the names of famous people in business, other writers. Just begin looking. This costs you nothing more than your time.
The idea is to begin something. Just complaining and not doing anything about it will get you no further than you are in this moment. You might be surprised how much good information is out there that won’t cost you a dime. This will at least be enough to get you started on your own road to success.
As you begin to grow, you will surely come across more opportunities, but these opportunities will never come into your awareness if you don’t first get out there and begin looking for them. You can start right here by looking back through these archived blogs. There is a wealth of very good information.
If you are seeking to achieve your goals, I also have an excellent book that tells you specifically how to attain the right mindset to quickly achieve those goals. Manifest By Design Now: A Better Way to Achieve Your Dreams in Five Easy Steps. You can find a downloadable ebook version at Jeffrey Brandt Products.

Courage and Conformity
The most natural manner of living life is also the most unsuccessful.
Whoa, think about that last sentence. Do you agree with it? Throughout your life from the time you were just a wee little tot, you were taught and expected to do what? You were taught and expected to be like everyone else. Sure you may have heard phrases like you are unique and original but how much was this truly encouraged and to what extent?
For many of the most successful in life, it seems they spent a certain part of their life learning to fit in, only to spend the latter part learning to express their uniqueness. Who wins? Uniqueness, originality, one-of-a-kindness, the real you (singular).
Don’t concern yourself with what is considered to be the norm when you seek to do great things. Great things are not the norm, thus they are great. With some 95% of the population doing ‘normal’ things, you can expect to face some resistance along your path to what you consider to be success.
Get this into your head right now before you even begin. If you’ve already begun but find yourself at a roadblock, congratulate yourself for finding this wise advice now before you threw in the towel. Resistance is a necessary factor in achieving great success.
Without resistance in weight training, you would build no muscle mass. Without resistance in electricity, you would have no light or heat. Resistance is not a bad thing. Resistance is what gives the creative element in you opportunity to shine through acceleration. The very meaning of standing out is to overcome resistance. The greater the resistance you overcome, the greater you will stand out in the eyes of others and yourself.
Take your manner of living more seriously. Going with the flow of others has definite benefits in many areas, but when it comes to creating a better life than average, you need to think in better than average ways. If you’re lost as to how to go about things in a more than average way, look to the examples that most stand out in your perspective.
Study the best athletes. Study the best in business. Study the spiritual masters. Study anyone who you admire. Know that in so doing their wisdom will rub off on you. This will help you get started in the right direction, but know something more.
Whoever you follow to get started, may be only the beginning. There is nothing to stop you from taking off from that point and creating your own path which goes even further. This is what life is really about. In truth this should be the natural manner of living. Sadly, however, this manner of living takes courage in a society that breeds conformity.
It was Rollo May who said that the opposite of courage is not cowardice, but conformity. I do believe this is true. Conformity is the enemy of creative spirit. The creative spirit wishes to soar while conformity keeps us grounded. Conformity may have its place, but it is not in the realm of making change for the better. If you want to improve your life, you’ve got to think of new ideas and be willing to apply them.
Live your Dreams,

The Gift
Manifest by Design Now is a book I wrote that clearly explains the essence of my philosophy of success consciousness. This book, I believe, is one of the most powerful books I’ve read. Not so much because I wrote the darn thing, but because I put my heart and soul into the writing of it. It is the sincerest expression of my understanding of the path to achieving goals, whether they be financial, personal, relational, or whatever.
I came to the conclusion, actually during the process of writing this book that a holistic mind consciousness approach is by far the most effective way to achieve your dreams. What this means is that you must be totally consistent in your thinking-feeling process to attain maximum impact with your efforts.
Being positive about attaining your goals is not always enough. You must be positive about every aspect of your life, and you must be sincere. In short, you must BE before can DO. And when you DO, you will HAVE. I know this as a truth in my own experience. I went through the very same struggles that I imagine most of you have gone or are going through. I came out on top and sincerely wish to do my part to help you do the same.
I didn’t only write this book; I lived it, and still live it every day. I believe in what it says, and I want you to see for yourself. I have learned to freely accept and act upon universal inspiration when it strikes. This is important! And it is important to do so quickly, without any hesitation. The Universe will ALWAYS provide the how. You need not concern yourself with how you will achieve what you sincerely desire. You simply feed your subconscious mind the correct stimulus, through conscious direction of the imagination by the will, and with faith you allow the how to come to you through intuitive hunches. This completes the cycle to the point of manifestation. You simply follow through with correct action.
ALL OF THIS is plainly explained in detail in my new book, Manifest by Design Now. Being true to what I preach, I received a certain inspiration from the Universe, which will certainly be of interest to you. I am going to GIVE a certain number of copies of this book away for FREE. I honestly do not know how many or for how long. I have not received inspiration on this as of yet.
This brings me to a well known quote by Martin Luther King Jr.
“Take the first step in faith. You don’t have to see the whole staircase. Just take the first step.”
To give you a little history behind the actual writing of this book:
When I first got inspired to write the book, Manifest by design Now, I knew I wanted to make it a very powerful book, as it should be. I also know from using these very principles that nothing beats the power of a mastermind group.
My definite major purpose is to help as many people as I can to achieve their dreams, and to get started as soon as I could. I posed the question of how to do this to the universe, and this is the answer I got:
“Write the essence of your book. Make it complete in that it will explain exactly the five steps you use to achieve your dreams. Create a website, and get this information out there as soon as possible. You will get a good enough response from enough people to help you make the final book even better than your original dream. You will be helping these people, and they will help you. It is a win-win situation. Be sure to compensate them well, and above all, be sincere in your quest.”
Now at the time I wrote this book I had no idea I was going to give copies away. As I said before, you don’t have to know the how. I am simply following universal inspiration. I trust that you are here right now for a definite reason. I don’t believe in mere coincidence without reason. If you feel so inspired to take me up on this offer, simply send me a message on my personal page on Facebook. This book is currently available only as a downloadable ebook, so you will need to tell me your email address so I will know where to send it.
I thank you for reading my blog and wish you total success in all that you do.

Course Correction
Did you ever think about your actions when you are driving down a long stretch of road that apparently has no curves? The road may be as straight as an arrow, yet how often do you need to adjust your steering? Most people don’t even give this a thought, as driving has become almost totally automatic. Think about it the next time you are driving and notice how many slight adjustments you are making on a constant basis.
Flying is the same. A typical flight from point A to point B may appear to be a straight course, but the pilot (or autopilot) must make continuous adjustments to arrive at the correct destination. I’ve heard it said that an airplane is off course as much as ninety percent of the flight. Yet, it always seems to arrive on target and on time.
Consider this well when you are trying to reach a certain goal and you begin to feel you are making little or no headway. As long as you are moving forward in the general direction of your determined goal, and you are making your course corrections as needed, you will arrive.
Will you arrive later today or tomorrow? That I don’t know, but I do know that moving ahead and correcting your course is an obvious plan to succeed. The important thing to remember is that action is necessary. And it must be action that will move you in that direction.
Large goals may be a while in coming, and there may be need for numerous course corrections. This is where your perseverance comes in very handily. Don’t give up hope. Keep plugging away, enjoying your journey. Reward yourself for the little successes en route.
It may help also to have a partner along the way that can help give you objective feedback as to what actions to take. This partner can also be of use to hold you accountable that you are actually taking the necessary action and not simply talking about it.
One very important point about choosing a partner in your venture, you want it to be someone who is of the mindset to inspire confidence. Sometimes we need someone to believe in us even as we ourselves may be in doubt. So more than just accountability and feedback, we want a coach. Realistic yes, but you want someone who will push your limits just a bit, someone who will make you stretch. After all, isn’t that the primary reason for our wanting to reach a goal, to grow?
So get behind the wheel, or get into the cockpit, take the wheel, or take the joy stick, hit the gas and go!
Bon Voyage,
Jeffrey Brandt

One very important point about choosing a partner in your venture, you want it to be someone who is of the mindset to inspire confidence. Sometimes we need someone to believe in us even as we ourselves may be in doubt. So more than just accountability and feedback, we want a coach. Realistic yes, but you want someone who will push your limits just a bit, someone who will make you stretch. After all, isn’t that the primary reason for our wanting to reach a goal, to grow?
So get behind the wheel, or get into the cockpit, take the wheel, or take the joy stick, hit the gas and go!
Bon Voyage,

Do you know how to change your fate?
Someone once asked me why the mind interested me so much. On a certain level I was floored by this question. How could anybody not be interested in the mind? Once I thought about it, however, I understood why someone might ask it. There is a great difference in the population. This difference can be deciphered in how we use this marvelous tool that we all have access to.
There is a great number of people out there who really believe that life is something that happens to us, as if we have little say in the way our lives play out. Of course they will tell you that there are also some things you bring on yourself, but in general, your life is determined by the circumstances you were born into.
When you bring up the fact that there have been and continue to be people who have broken from their natal circumstances and lifted themselves to fame and fortune, they will cite luck or some other influence.
If that were true, why is it that that great majority of lottery winners end up right back where they were prior to winning big? It doesn’t matter how big they win either. Some even end up worse off than they were before.
Those that do work themselves to the top of any given field, typically claim nothing special about them other than an intense drive to succeed and an undying faith that they would someday “make it.” What they say is that anybody has the ability to do this as well.
This brings us to the human mind. It is a fairly well known fact that we are only using a small percentage of our mind’s potential. We have for all practical purposes an unlimited potential awaiting our use. The problem is that we were not given an instruction manual at birth on how to use it. This is something we must pick up along the way in life.
Now where do we pick up this information? Usually we get it from our parents and those closest to us in our daily lives.
With this in mind, it is no wonder our standard of living tends to be about the same as that of our parents. Sure we have many more conveniences, as there exists more as society itself advances. However, besides the cell phones, internet, and all of these gadgets that are simply a part of common life today, we remain about the same.
What changes in the individual who breaks from this paradigm is a definite decision. You must consciously seek to grow through expanding your circle of influence. This is the amazing thing about being alive today. You can reach out to touch and be touched by a class of people you may have had little chance of reaching in an earlier time. I mean to say the class of people you wish to become a part of. You don’t have to settle with what life has handed you.
Perhaps you cannot personally meet them yet, but there are so many platforms out there where you can get close. Think about the number of books, CDs, Videos, programs, blogs, pod casts, Vlogs, membership cites, clubs, subscriptions, etc. all meant to share information, inspiration, advice, and ideas.
Communication is the medium of growth. Use it. Use it to feed your mind a new paradigm, one that allows you to believe anything is possible, because in truth anything is possible!

Get Passionate!
If I ask you to get passionate about your life, what would be your response? You might ask why. You might ask what there is to get passionate about. You might wonder how you can find passion.
Why get passionate?
Passion is an incredibly powerful elixir for getting things done. It is the adrenaline rush of the spirit. It gets you to jump out of bed in the morning eager to get started with the work ahead of you. It causes time to stand still when you realize hours have passed since you began working on a project. Your energy level seems not to become depleted. It feels good, and real progress is made.
What is there to get passionate about?
Life is meant to be lived with passion. There is no greater reward than knowing that you are contributing to something worthwhile that will have a positive impact on yourself and others. Even more so when that impact stretches beyond your immediate reach of time and space. Every detail of your life can be lived with passion if you understand one vitally important thing.
How can I find passion?
Passion is not something you can simply decide. It must come from inside you. This is because passion is in your core. It is your core, and you must but discover it. There is a word for this. It is called purpose, your purpose, your calling. The great majority of people do not even know what their purpose is in life.
As children we are more open to discover it. By the time we become adults, our lives have become fraught with artificial worries and frustrations limiting beliefs that few of us really know with any specificity what it is we truly want to do with our life. If you are not sure what your purpose is, try this out and see if it helps.
An imaginary game
Imagine for a moment that you have an unlimited amount of money at your disposal. Sound crazy? Stay with me. There is a meaning to all of this. Imagine you no longer have to keep your job. If money were no issue, would you continue working where you do? Chances are you would walk. That’s fine.
Would you like to buy a new car? How about buying several new cars? Go ahead. You have the money, and there’s plenty more where that comes from. Perhaps you would like to buy a house, but you’re not sure where you would like to have this house. Remember you can live anywhere you like. Money is no problem. Go ahead and buy houses in all of your favorite locations. And while you’re at it, a private jet might be nice so you can travel at your leisure.
Now you can probably think about a gazillion toys you would like to have and things you would like to do. Go ahead. Before we get too far along here, I would like you to write out all of the things you want to have and do. Preferably you will fill up the whole sheet, both front and back. If this doesn’t take you long, then I suggest you begin a second sheet.
The idea here is that I want you to continue adding things to this list until it becomes more difficult to think of things to add. I urge you to do this in writing because after a while it may get difficult to remember everything you thought of. And by reading your list you may think of other things to add.
Continue. Continue. Continue. If you keep this up for a good while, you will notice something happening to your list. At first, what you write down will likely be a lot of very materialistic things and activities. This is fine, and I encourage you to exhaust yourself trying to add all of these things you can. I say this because what happens to your list after you have no more you could want in the way of materialistic merchandise and experiences?
If you force yourself to continue writing, you will likely begin to think of other things you really want such as to help others in some altruistic way. Helping out a charity or creating your own charity. Perhaps you would like to have the money to afford learning to write music and record that music. Maybe you would like to spend time writing a great novel or the story of your life. You could even decide to use your time teaching others a thing or two.
What will eventually happen if you actually write out your list is that once you get past the shallow, superficial, egotistical ideas, you will begin to move closer to what your heart really wants. What your heart really wants is for you to fulfill your purpose in life.
This is a great way to help you discover what your purpose is. You have to get past the ego and playing a game of the imagination is a very good way of accomplishing that.
Let me know what results you come up with. I’d be happy to hear from you on this.
